Requirements and obligations
Operational summary, not the contract. The agreement is the contract: read it before you send us an IBAN.
1 · Who can be a BabyHunter
18 or over, resident in Spain, and able to work on your own account. We only open Spain for now: we open countries one at a time.
2 · The two paths
Occasional path: if you do not invoice yet, your first two months are a referral reward. You do not invoice us and nothing is withheld. Collaboration path: if you already invoice as self employed or as a company, you invoice us, or we use the self-bill if you are a natural person in Spain.
3 · It is your responsibility
We do not check your tax situation or your work permit. You confirm that you can invoice for these services when the time comes. If you cannot, do not sign up.
4 · If you have to register as self-employed
Registering with the tax office (modelo 037) and with Social Security (RETA) is yours to do. It costs money: the contribution is monthly whether you sell or not, at a flat rate (about 80 € a month) for the first months if you qualify.
5 · The invoice
On the collaboration path, and if you are a natural person in Spain, we issue the invoice on your behalf with your acceptance (self-billing, RD 1619/2012 art. 5) and you must tick the recipient-issues-the-invoice option in your census declaration (modelo 036/037). If you do not, or if you are a company, you invoice us yourself.
6 · The IRPF withholding
On the collaboration path we withhold 15 % of the net amount, or 7 % during your first three years of activity. Nothing is withheld from a company. On the occasional path there is no invoice and no withholding.
7 · The 600 € monthly line
While you are on the occasional path, if your payments in one calendar month pass 600 €, we stop the next payment. To release it we need one thing: your RETA registration (the situation report with the start date), your AEAT census certificate, a signed contract, or you telling us to leave it. The reason is shown on your record.
8 · When you are paid
Pay is 10 € for every shop that gives us access to its Google listing, 10 € more if it registers its card on Plus or Pro, and 25 % of what the shop pays (before VAT) for its first 6 months. SEPA transfer to your IBAN, weekly when the balance reaches 20 €.
9 · What we never ask you for
Passwords, cash payments, money up front, or signing anything in our name. You may state the prices; you never negotiate and never invent a discount. You do not cold-message shops.
10 · The beta phase
BabyHunters is in beta: we may pause or end the programme with 30 days written notice, by email and WhatsApp. From that day no new hunters join. What you have already earned is paid, and your data is exported on request.
